I suppose I should tell you all a bit about me.  I’ve already written a couple of blogs and you have no idea who this anonymous person is.  To start with I’m a pretty laid back person for the most part.  I am quick to judge and quite opinionated, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I LOVE all people, especially the unique and quirky ones.  I believe in truth and justice for ALL

 

Okay, a little background. I am in my fifties and have done a good bit of traveling in my days.  I was raised a Navy brat and then joined the Air Force when I got bored at my factory job.  I spent ten years on active duty and loved every minute of it.  I would have done the entire 20 years till retirement, but they decided I should go to North Dakota and I just could not live in a place where you have to plug in your car to get it to run.  Following the military I worked for ten years in a medium-security, men’s prison.  This was probably the worst job I’ve ever done in my life.  Looking back, the only good thing was it inspired much of my writing (a couple of screenplays and several short stories).

 

I’m a southern girl, born and bred.  Now some folks would dispute that since I’m from Miami.  However, when I was growing up, it was the south, crackers, grits, m’am and sir, southern drawl and hospitality punctuated by sweet tea! 

 

Once in a while I can get a bit radical, but that only happens occasionally (maybe once a week?)  I love reality TV, fried hominy, nuts (people, not the food), Ellen Degeneres, looking at my baby grand piano (wishing I could learn to play it), saying good morning to unfriendly people when I get within a 2 feet of them (over and over again until they break), luring people into debates, and borrowing clothes from a drag queen. I hate Primetime Mysteries, Dateline’s undercover series, Cops (the show, not the people), anything to do with math, FISH, people who pretend to like you, speeders, criminals, NRA (did I just tick someone off out there?), Howard Stern, shredded wheat, weak women who won’t defend themselves, the men who bully these women (or other weak men for that matter), cell phones (though I have 2 out of necessity), and bigots. (The above lists, of course, are not all inclusive.)

 

So, there you have it.  Throughout my life, people have either loved me or hated me…you’ll have to decide for yourself.
