Do you ever wonder why you are here? I know it sounds bit hokey, but once in a while, I do think about it. Usually its after a crappy day at work, or an equally crappy evening at home. Now I've always lived by the philosophy that everything happens for a reason and there are no chance meetings...its all part of the "big" plan. But that being said, it really makes me wonder sometimes. Have I been put here in this exact time and place to be abused by my employer? If so, why would "I" be the one to be here to take it? What did he do in his life that would give him this privilege, or authority? Was it in the big plan that I be the whipping board? Was it in the big plan that I operate the Ironing board? Do I need to rethink my "big plan" theory? Nah....I still think it applies, and I can't give it up or I'll have to go back to my "this is all a dream" thing, where someone is going to wake up and I'm going to disappear because my entire life was nothing more than that person's dream. Something to think about.....

I think about a lot of the same things that you do. Mostly in regards to the "big plan". I always think about some of the smallest decisions can decide the rest of someones life. Take for example a simple introduction of friends. I once introduced a friend of mine to a girl that my wife was friends with. This was 5 years ago. I was just the best man in their wedding. All because I said the words "she single". I could have thought of any one of my friends but picked him. Really strange to think about.
