STORY BLOCK Rated R
The Social Worker...continued
Inmate Eisle moved his head, startling Smith who was still taking a very close look at the inmate. Black chuckled when Smith jumped back almost losing his balance. Black looked at the inmate, “What the fuck is wrong with you, boy?” Inmate Eisle mumbled something. Black put his ear near the inmate’s face, “What?” The inmate struggled to speak louder, “I want Ms. Juran.” Patting his jacket pocket where he had placed the piece of paper, Black responded sarcastically, “I’ll bet you do!” Finally, Captain Jones entered the room with the officers. His deeply lined face showed concern and shock at the bloody scene. “Holy shit!” “He’s asking for Ms. Juran.” Black stated in a strange tone. The captain looked at Black as if questioning his accusing tone and then pulled his radio from his belt. He contacted the control center and asked them to get Ms. Juran to come to isolation. Within minutes, Susan ran into the isolation cellblock. There were several officers and supervisors in the area. Susane stopped at the front desk, “Who is it? What’s going on?” Captain Jones shouted to Susan from down the range. “Your guy...Eisle...he’s asking for you? Hurry up!” Susan’s mind raced. She knew by all of the people in the area, that something bad had happened. Susan walked back the hall to the cell. She stopped and looked at the floor before entering.
