I was living in South Florida and decided it was just too crazy and too expensve to stay there.  Where to go was the big question.  We did a lot of internet searches and then remembered that when we had been in Biloxi in the Air Force, we really liked it, though that was many, many years ago.  So, we booked a flight and made reservations at one of the casinos and we were off.

Needless to say, it was nothing like we had remember, but so much better.  It didn't long for us to buy a lot and hire a builder.  Our house was just underway when Katrina blew over us in Fort Myers as a tropical storm and headed right for Biloxi.  The rest, as they say, is history.  When the storm had passed and we were able to reach the builder, he said he would still complete our house.  So, since we were committed to the area, we packed up and went to Biloxi to help with disaster relief.

My family thought we'd be unhappy there, but they were so wrong.  Biloxi is a very special place with very special people.  Life is returning to normal here as are all of the tourist geared things here.  The Biloxi casinos are back open...yea!!!!! The big name shows are back up and running.  Anyone who would like to go somewhere unique and exciting should consider Biloxi!  You might end up like my husband and I and staying!  To get more info and to see what you've been missing, check it out!
