Okay folks, I'm sorry I dropped the ball on finishing this script for you.  I got several emails wanting the "rest of the story" so I will continue.. DISSOLVE TO: INSERT DATE FEB 1970 INT. BAL TAB DISCO - NIGHT Linda is in the disco. They are celebrating her 18th birthday. In the disco there are 7 men to every woman. Rock and Roll music is playing. Linda is mulling around, drink in hand, chatting to everyone. MICK HYMPHRIES arrives with a friend (Brian). Mick sees Linda and walks up to her. MICK Hi there, Linda. (pointing to Brian) This is Brian. Linda extends her hand to Brian. LINDA Hi, Brian, nice to meet you. Linda looks Brian over while speaking with a look of interest. BRIAN (shakes Linda's hand a bit lingeringly) Nice to meet you too. Brian looks Linda over in return, smiles and then looks around the disco. MICK (laughing) I don't think there will be much pulling going on here tonight. Rather a lot of men, but not many women! LINDA What did you expect on my birthday, Mick? MICK It's your party? LINDA Yes, didn't your mum pass the invite onto you? MICK Happy birthday. Mum must have forgotten, typical, we paid to come in. BRIAN Want a drink? MICK Okay. LINDA Sure, gin and ginger beer, thanks. Brian goes to the bar to get the drinks. Linda watches his ass as he goes. Mick is saying something to her, which she doesn't hear. MICK (raising his voice) Linda, did you hear me? LINDA No, sorry what did you say? MICK I thought you were seventeen? LINDA Yes, but for legal reasons I had to have this as my eighteen. MICK (smiling) Oh, I see. Like Brian's bum do you? LINDA Not bad. (grinning) Not bad all over in fact. No harm in looking Mick. Men do it all the time. MICK Careful, you never know what looking can lead to. LINDA You reckon? Brian returns with the drinks. A male friend of Linda's comes over and asks her to dance. Mick and Brian go and take a seat in the corner of the room. Linda gives Mick her drink to look after. DISSOLVE TO: Linda leaves the dance floor and goes over to the table to join Mick and Brian sitting next to Brian. Camera shot of Linda and Brian sitting close together obviously getting to know each other, drinking and chatting. BRIAN Do you want to dance? LINDA Love to. They get up and go on the dance floor and slow dance, obviously having got quite close romantically. DISSOLVE TO:
