I come originally from the land of outdoor living...Florida. 1 out of every 5 houses has an outdoor living area. You know what I mean; a large screened in area with part of it covered with a roof. In south Florida they are referred to as a lanai. Every house I've had there has had one. Sometimes they have a pool or spa, other times its just an area and in recent years they have outdoor kitchens I love it. After Hurricane Katrina, I came to Biloxi, MS to help with disaster work and as people are rebuilding I see the trend is catching on here. Outdoor kitchens are a cool concept, but I did notice in some older properties in Florida that the weather takes a real toll on the cabinetry. Well, I found a place called Werever that has cabinets that are literally weather proof. They are made of a marine grade polymer that can hold up to everything and anything. This is an amazing answer to the problems some Florida residents have faced with cracking, peeling and fading cabinets. If you are in an area where you have four months or more of wonderful weather and are thinking of putting in an outdoor kitchen I would certainly check this product out before buying traditional wood cabinets. It could save you tons of money in the long haul and give you a kitchen you can be proud of for years to come.
