I remember years ago hearing about people who had odd symptoms and no one believed them. Sometime after that I remember hearing the word Lupus. I had no idea then that I too would be one of these people. About two years ago I started having so much pain it was unbelievable. To top it off, my pain was only when the sun went down. After numerous doctors telling me it was in my head, they gave me the diagnosis of Lupus. Now I'm not sure what the future holds for me, but my family has one fear and that is all the pain meds I take. They tell me, "tough it out," but they have no idea the level of this pain. They're concern is that I'm going to need to go to a drug treatment center . Maybe they are right, but what can a person do that is in so much pain?
