My boss came into work the other day saying he was having a probem with his computer. When I asked what was going on, he said that when he turned on his computer he could see the normal start up stuff on the screen and that when it came to the part that would show your desk top it goes to black. He is convinced that it is his lcd monitor, but I'm not so sure. It would seem to me that if you can see anything on your monitor, it isn't your monitor. I can't wait to find out. He took his monitor from work home to try on his computer.

My old laptop did this too. I sent it back to the manufacturer, because it was still under limited warranty, and it turns out that there was a virus on the hard drive that ruined the computer. And guess what...that wasn't covered under warranty!! Reply to this
