I know most of us to not want to acknowledge the reality that some people have serious problems and that need professional help. If you have someone in your family who is dealing with a drug issue, or a gambling issue, I know its hard. You love them and want to help them. It may also seem embarrassing to you to say your loved one is in a drug rehab program, but it shouldn't be.

The fact is that today almost every family is touched by some sort of issue that requires one to go into rehab. Try to look at the positive side, they are getting the help they need. Many people come out of rehab like new people with a new lease on life. There is life after rehab if the person chooses life. My only concern is for those who think they don't have access to rehab because of their financial situation. I hope they know that even the government gets involved in rehab and there are many nonprofits who can help. If you or a loved one needs help, please go get it!
