I just got off the phone with a friend of mine in South Carolina. She has a small horse farm. Mostly she takes in horses that have been abused and removed from their owners. She was talking about her most recent adoption and said that she needed to find some affordable horse supplements. I laughed, but she was serious. Geez I guess I just never thought about animals taking supplements, but I guess if they have not been fed properly or if they have medical issue they may need them just like people.
