Flipping through a magazine these days is very enlightening. They look different. Years ago, they were filled with fancy liquor advertising and cigarettes. Now everything is about looking good. There is page after page of fragrances, jewelry, make up, fashion, surgical procedures and even body acne treatment. Some of the ads just seem so odd to me. Maybe I am stuck in a time warp.
