In the Simpsons sixth season they saw a great episode called Homie the Clown, wherein Homer Simpsons decides to go to clown college. In the episode it is discovered that Homer looks nearly identical to Krusty the clown and is commissioned to do work as him. This work includes children's birthday parties and the opening of new Krusty Burger locations.
The episode takes a turn when the mob is looking for Krusty and instead finds Homer. They try to kill Homer as he is demanding a free car from a car dealer and shoot holes in a car he is standing next to. He asks the car salesman why the car is riddled with hol! es, to which he replies "they're speed holes ... they help the car go faster".
Homer returns home to put holes in his car with a pickax. Ned Flanders comes outside to see what he is doing and his shot. He reveals his bible took the bullet and he is shot again. He then reveals that a cross he was wearing took the impact afterward he runs away.
The mob gets homer and Krusty stops in as well. The demand to not be killed they have to preform a trick Homer is terrible at. But they succeed and Krusty pays the mob the 48$ he owes them. This is often shown on premium networks of cable tv specials and is worth checking out if you ever get the chance.
