Is patent leather okay for guys?

I am thinking about buying my husband a pair of patent leather tuxedo shoes. They look really sharp but then i thought maybe guys don't really like patent leather? He has a tux that he always takes on our yearly cruise trips. We like to dress up for the Captain's dinner, but the shoes he usually wears just look too casual to me. I like these and wanted to surprise him but I need to talk to some guys first.

You know I have been doing things on the internet forever. I remember when Ebay was brand new and there were 2000 items listed for sale. It's been a long time. I have also tried meny times to get an internet business started, without much luck.

I spent a lot of time researching and trying different things to no avail, all the while knowing that what I really needed ws to get some professional help. I found a place called Roi Analytics. I really liked their site because they gave truly in depth explainations about things like SEO and search engine optimization. What is the biggest thing I learned? Well, I learned that I should have hired someone a long time ago.

If you are not trained in these things, it is not likely that you are going to be able to wing it. You need techies that know all the ins and outs. You need a company that can analyze what you have and what you need. I have finally resigned myself to this fact and thing I will give these guys a try.

Admin Job Search

I was talking to my best friend the other day and she said she was doing an admin job search. I asked her why and she said that she is so sick of her current job. I pointed out that the economy is bad and that there are many unemployed people right now. I also told her I thought she whould stay put. She argued that right now, there are tons of admin jobs out there. I hope she is right and that she finds what she is looking for.

I suffer from chronic insomnia because of my chronic pain. I hate taking drugs but sometimes, I just have to get some sleep so I will occasionally take sleeping pills. Not prescription ones, just the ones you can buy at the drug store. They work fairly well for me as long as i don't take them several days in a row. I did find out that all of these are simply benedril which is used for allergies so now I just buy the generic version, and I always keep them on hand, just in case.

I was purusing the internet and came upon some interesting things. I do this often, just reading random things. Anyway, the one thing I came upon that was particularly interesting was one fat burner review. It caught my eye because it claimed that by adding the fat burner to their daily diet (while they were on a diet) that it doubled the amount of weight they were losting. Now if one of these supplements would do this, I'd love to try it. I think that would help keep me motivated.

Have you seen any of the recent commercials about the new breed of anti wrinkle creams? I know that over the years, I have used many of the reasonable priced cremas and I didn't see any difference. However, now I see advertisers saying that their creams compare to the high priced ones. Now I've never tried the expensive ones, but now they have caught my interest again. I may have to try out a few of them.

I'm not sure if it is because of something I'm eating or maybe it has something to do with my Lupus or with the meds I take for it, but suddenly I am dealing with a case of acne. It's not severe, but I have never had this problem, not even when I was a teenager. I just woke up one morning last week and had a zit on my nose. Each day thereafter, another appeared in a different place. I need to get out there and find the best acne treatment available, because I can't handle this!

So much for that!

At Christmas time I was tring to think ahead to the New year. My plan is to try to recover at least a little bit of strength. It is difficult because of this lupus. Well, my husband found a nice treadmill for me and got it all set up. I have been procrastinating about using it plus, I've just had a lot of issues lately. Anyway, I finally decided that I would get on it. Well, I lasted for a whole two minutes! My God I am out of shape, but at only two minutes I sure don't see much hope for me. So much for that idea!

Everyone knows I'm obsessed

All of my friends and everyone in my family knows that I am obsessed with weight loss supplements. I'm not addicted, just obsessed about discovering the "one" that truly works for people. I have had weight issues my whole life and of course, I have been a yoyo dieter forever. It really stinks and so my quest will continue probably until I die. The worst part is, that I am really the only one in my family with a weight problem, so they don't understand!

I just read a diet pill review at http://www.phenterminereviews.net/. It sounds rather promising, but I keep thinking that phentermine was something that was in the news a few years back. Am I confused (highly likely) or what. I would like to try it, but I want to make sure that it is a safe product. I think I will continue researching it and see if I can find some more reviews or articles about it.

Fat Burners for women?

I was flipping through a mazazine the other day while I was in line at the grocery store and I saw an ad that specifically said fat burners for women. What does this mean? Will it not work for men? Is there a difference between one for women and a fat burner made for men? This ad just caused many questions to pop into my mind. If anyone has any insight into this, I would be happy if you would share it.

I'd sure like to be the one to find the best weight loss supplements, not one that's already out there, but actually discover some natural substance that will make a person feel healthy and take them effortlessly to a good weight. Wouldn't that be the coolest thing? I know one thing, whoever (if anyone ever) does it, will end up being the richest person in the world! It would be the most amazing and most sought after product ever.

Slimming pills

I heard some people talking on tv about parents giving their children slimming pills every day. The people were outraged at this. I'm not sure what I think. I guess saying slimming pills sort of softens the fact that it is diet pills. I personally wasn't so outraged because I have been overweight my whole life and maybe if my parents had given me something when I was young, maybe I wouldn't have had this problem.

My husband is so vain it's amazing! He is 62, almost 63 and he worries so much about how he looks. Right now his thing is that he wants to get his face worked on. He saw something about acne scar removal so he wants that, then he wants total resurfacing and then finally, he wants a facelift. I'm not so sure I want him to do that. I think he has aged nicely and plus, I don't want him looking so good that he goes look for some sweet young thing! Am I being paranoid?

Real Estate

I sold real estate in Florida for years. When I moved to Biloxi, I thought I'd continue it, however, that was when real estate started dropping. I paid my fees every year, but I decided this year to just drop my license. First, I can't physically do it anymore and I have to give up on hoping for a miracle because it is a big waste of my time. My friend called and started talking about Indianapolis real estate and I could feel myself getting excited about the topic. I need to get past this because it is no longer a part of my life.

Well, I have to admit this recession crap is getting on my nerves. First off, I really want to sell my house. We have had it on the market for over a year and have had exactly two inquiries about it! I have noticed that in our town no one is moving houses that are over about $175k so I am not going to lower my price because I don't think it will help. Another annoying issue is employment. Even my son is having a hard time finding a decent job and he's a nurse! I sure wish things would pick up!

My doctor made me so nervous

I had to get a bunch of tests done last week before I went to visit my doctor. He's a pretty nice guy and I don't mind when I have to see him. However, when I went in and he did his normal...reviewing my file and listening to my chest, he asked me the weirded question. He said, "Do you have a life insurance policy?" This totally freaked me out! He said, "Oh no, I didn't mean anything by that, I just wondered because now if you try you will pay alot because of the Lupus." I still keep hearing him asking that question. I hope he didn't mean anything by it!

Samsung

I was just doing the dusting around my house and happened to take note of all my electronic items (big and little). I had never realized it, but three fourths of all that I own are Samsung! When I go shopping for an electronic item I usually research reviews and then compare prices to find the best value. Apparently Samsung has met my criteria more times than not!

Parts, parts, parts

My youngest son works alot and he lives in an apartment. He also does many projects that involve cars and motorcyles. Since my husband and I are retired and only live about 5 miles from him, he orders all of his parts and such online and gives our house as the shipping address. I don't mind and I certainly understand that he is concerned about theft. There is also one more pert to this....we get to see him, at least for a few minutes quite often! Lets' see, today's shipment has a label that says Mopar parts. I'll give him a quick call and start dinner. If its ready when he gets here, he'll join us for dinner!

I know that when you get some things done around the house, some places will charge you for a quote. I usually try to avoid those places. What I didn't know was that some insurance companies charge for quotes. Can you imagine that? The only way I would buy insurance is if they give me free insurance quotes. I mean my goodness, insurance is not cheap and I'm sure they make plenty of profit, so they can forget about me as a customer if they plan to bill me.
